Next Wolves Manager Odds: Rodgers Favourite To Replace Under Pressure Pereira

Wolves fans turned on manager Vitor Pereira with chants of “sacked in the morning” after last weekend's loss to relegation rivals Burnley.
The Portuguese, who only signed a new three-year contract towards the end of September, was involved in heated discussions with supporters at the end of the 3-2 defeat, which came deep into stoppage time.
Although the club’s board also came under fire for selling their star players over the last two seasons, the heat is now on Pereira, whose winless side props up the Premier League table with just two points.
Having recently left Celtic after a fallout with the owners, Brendan Rodgers is the favourite on betting sites to make a quick return to the dugout at Molineux.
Wolves are already six points adrift of safety, nine games into the season, so they must start winning games – and soon.
Gambling.com takes a look at some of the potential candidates and the latest next Wolves manager odds.

Rodgers Could Make Premier League Return
Rodgers is out of a job after leaving Celtic following a 3-1 defeat at leaders Hearts.
The former Liverpool and Leicester boss has left Parkhead to join a Premier League club before, moving to Leicester in February 2019, and he could be about to head back to England for a second time.
After a recent defeat at Dundee, Rodgers compared Celtic to someone being given the keys to a Honda Civic and being asked to drive it like a Ferrari.
He is just 2/1 with most football betting sites to be given the challenge of steering Wolves away from the relegation zone.
Next Wolves Manager Odds:
Manager | Odds | Probability |
Brendan Rodgers | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Sergio Conceicao | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Kevin Muscat | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Erik ten Hag | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Frank Lampard | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Derek McInnes | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Mark Robins | 14/1 | 6.7% |
Russell Martin | 14/1 | 6.7% |
Steven Gerrard | 14/1 | 6.7% |
Another Portuguese Boss In The Running
Intense and combative as a player, Sergio Conceicao is built for a fight.
After seven seasons and 11 trophies at Porto in his homeland, he managed AC Milan before taking over at his current club, Al-Ittihad, in the Saudi Pro League.
His teams are well organised, direct when needed and quick on the counter, tactics that would be a good fit with a team fighting relegation.
Conceicao is priced at 6/1 to be the fourth Portuguese coach to take the reins at Wolves.

Solskjaer A Steady Option
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (6/1) may not be the most exciting manager in the game, but he brings Premier League pedigree and plenty of know-how.
Since leaving Besiktas in August, Solskjaer has been linked with several jobs but remains without a club.
His reputation for blooding youngsters and steadying clubs going through a difficult time keeps him on the shortlists of clubs around Europe.
If Wolves want calm hands and a measured reset mid-season, the Norwegian ticks plenty of boxes.
Muscat A Wanted Man
Fresh from being linked with the job at his former club Rangers, Kevin Muscat is thought to be high on Wolves' list of potential managers.
The Aussie has strong connections with Molineux after making 180 appearances for the club as a player.
Currently in charge of Shanghai Port, where he delivered a 2024 league–and–cup double, Muscat may need some persuasion to make the move back to England.
He is 8/1 on betting apps to get the job.
Lampard And McInnes Having Stellar Seasons
With the performances of Frank Lampard at Coventry and Derek McInnes at Hearts, it is no surprise to see both men being linked with the Wolves hotseat.
Lampard has Coventry sitting at the top of the Championship table, while McInnes has overseen Hearts' rise to the top of the Scottish Premiership.
It is hard to see them swapping their current roles for a relegation fight, but they can both be backed at 12/1.
Ten Hag And Martin Among Outsiders
Erik ten Hag (10/1) is also believed to be in the crosshairs of the Wolves board, and the Dutchman would be eager for the job as he looks to rebuild his career after disappointing spells at Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen.
Russell Martin is another manager on a redemption mission after a horrific time at Rangers. He can be backed at 14/1 in the market, the same price as another ex-Gers boss, Steven Gerrard.
Stoke City manager Mark Robins is also a 14/1 outsider for the role.
