NFL Week 7 Predictions & NFL Best Player Props for Commanders vs. Giants

How to Watch Commanders vs. Giants

  • Date: Sunday, October 22, 2023
  • Kick Off: 1:00 AM ET
  • Location: MetLife Stadium – East Rutherford, NJ
  • Where to Watch: CBS

The Commanders (3-3; 3-3 ATS) stopped a three-game slide last Sunday. They beat the Atlanta Falcons 24-16 as 1.5-point road dogs despite being outgained 402-193 in total yards. The Commanders struggled to move the ball, and Brian Robinson Jr., who’ll find his place among my NFL picks for Week 7, led the way with 12 touches for 56 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

Washington is scoring 22.2 points per game (tied-15th in the NFL) while yielding 29.3 points in return (tied-29th). On the other side, the Giants (1-5; 1-5 ATS) are dead last in the league in points scored (11.8 per game) and 28th in points allowed (27.8). New York has serious injury problems, so we have to be very careful when picking the NFL player props for the Commanders vs. Giants battle.

The Giants extended their losing streak to four games in Week 6, suffering a 14-9 defeat at the Buffalo Bills. Tyrod Taylor replaced injured Daniel Jones (neck) under center and threw for 200 yards, while Saquon Barkley posted 24 carries for 93 yards in his return from a three-game absence caused by an ankle injury. Jones is questionable to play in Week 7, so my NFL prediction for this clash is Washington Commanders -2.5 (-115) at BetMGM.  Washington is 7-2 ATS in its last nine outings away from home and 2-1 ATS in its previous three road tilts against the Giants.

⭐ Best NBA ATS Pick Today: Washington Commanders -2.5 (-115) at BetMGM

Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants Player Props & NFL Picks

⭐  Brian Robinson Jr. Over 60.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel

Over the last three weeks, Brian Robinson Jr. has only amassed 86 rushing yards. But he’s met some sturdy run defenses in that span, and I think this is a bounce-back spot for the Alabama product. The Giants’ run D is one of the worst in the league, surrendering 147.5 yards per game (31st) and 5.1 yards per carry (30th). New York blitzes on 38.1 percent of dropbacks (4th), and the best way to avoid pressure on QB is to establish your ground game. Hereof, give me Brian Robinson Jr. Over 60.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel as my first NFL pick for the Commanders vs. Giants player props

Saquon Barkley Over 88.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-115) at bet365

The Commanders’ run D has been struggling, too, allowing 129.0 yards per game (23rd) and 4.6 yards per carry (26th). I’m expecting to see a big game from Saquon Barkley, who had 18 totes for 87 yards and a TD and five catches for 33 yards in his previous date with Washington. Last week, he posted 98 yards from scrimmage, so Saquon Barkley Over 88.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-115) is one of my NFL player props for Week 7

Saquon Barkley Anytime TD Scorer (+120) at DraftKings

Since a 31-28 win at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, the Giants have only scored one offensive touchdown. Saquon Barkley scored twice in that narrow victory, and I’m expecting the Giants’ superstar to find the end zone in Week 7. The Commanders have allowed four rushing touchdowns and 12 receiving touchdowns so far this season. Barkley is an excellent catcher out of the backfield, so I’m rounding up NFL picks and Commanders vs. Giants predictions with another player prop – Saquon Barkley Anytime TD Scorer (+120) at DraftKings

Interestingly, the Giants’ offense hasn’t scored a first-half touchdown thus far. If you want to take the risk, Barkley sits at +275 odds to find the end zone in the first half.
