The people behind SoBet are betting their new mobile app, launched this week, will allow them to better connect with younger audiences.

The app is available via free download from the App Store and Google Play.

Entertainment Factor

SoBet is a Nashville-based sports media platform comprised of a global team of independent, vetted experts providing short-form sports betting content ranging from betting picks to game analysis to content that’s more on the entertainment side – podcasts and man-on-the-street interviews.

“We have collaborated closely with our expert creators and subscribers to create a user experience that prioritizes fan interaction and engagement, while delivering authentic coverage to an ever-growing audience of next-gen sports fans,” said Cooper Lycan, SoBet CEO and founder, in a statement.

Lycan said a cross-generational divide has shaped the way sports content is consumed. Bringing all aspects of sports entertainment and betting coverage onto one site “is key to meeting younger audiences where they are,” he said.

“As SoBet aims to become the one-stop shop for sports coverage, analysis and entertainment, launching the app brings us one step closer,” Lycan said.

SoBet Pros Offer Information, Advice

On the new app, sports fans will have access to over 1,500 weekly pieces of content. The platform has partnered with more than 40 expert content creators, called SoBet Pros, disseminating sports betting content for close to 10 sports. The app is available in time for those interesting in NFL betting.

SoBet is working to diversify its sports coverage to speak to an increasingly diverse audience. That includes recently adding daily fantasy sports with plans to add esports.

This summer SoBet added analysis, betting insights and highlights covering the Professional Lacrosse League 2023 season, a sport that’s increasing in popularity.

Social media is also a key part of what SoBet calls a community-based approach to sports fan engagement. Users will get real-time notifications on sports and specific games.
