Mega Millions Pennsylvania Player Misses $363 Million Jackpot

38,000 Winning Tickets Came from Pennsylvania
The new millionaire wasn’t the only player who got lucky with their Mega Millions numbers that same week. Yahoo News reported that a total of 38,000 other winning tickets hailed from the Keystone State, with their holders winning prizes ranging from as low as $2 and going all the way up to $1,500.
Scoring the full jackpot in Mega Millions is touch, with odds coming in at 1 in 302,575,350. To win the big prize, a player must not only match all the five white balls, but also the gold Mega Ball. Drawings are held twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the lottery is available in 44 other states besides Pennsylvania, as well as Washington, D.C. and the Virgin Islands.
