Mo Salah’s future is up in the air once again in the wake of an unseemly fall-out with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp at the weekend and best betting sites are speculating which club he could join next season.

The three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner was dropped to the bench for Saturday’s 2-2 draw at West Ham and seemed unhappy with something that Klopp said to him as he was about to be brought on as a late substitute, moments after the Hammers had equalised.

Reds team-mates Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez had to intervene as Salah tried to prolong the squabble before he eventually took to the pitch.

In a video appearing on social media, the Egyptian subsequently said “if I speak there will be fire” as he walked through the media area after the game.

However, Klopp later revealed that the pair “spoke about that in the dressing room and it’s done for me”, suggesting that the issue had been resolved – at least on the part of the Liverpool manager.

Klopp is leaving Anfield at the end of the campaign after eight-and-a-half-years in charge and although Salah’s contract runs out in the summer of 2025, Liverpool expect him to be at the club next season.

That's the hope for Liverpool fans who have taken Salah to their hearts and would not not want to see him leave the club.

Ex-Liverpool defender Phil Babb gave his verdict on Salah's importance to the Reds exclusively to Gambling.com : "Oh absolutely, who wouldn’t (want to keep players like Van Dijk and Salah at Liverpool). And I think that is the first topic of conversation of whoever comes through the door.

"You know, do FSG have a plan to remove some of the players that are getting towards the end of their careers? Do they want to keep the superstars? What is their remit? That’s from a fan’s point of view.

"The likes of Salah, who would want to get rid him? He’s still banging in goals, even (in) his cameo the other day he always finds the back of the net."

But, where will Salah be plying his trade next season? Let’s take a look at the latest betting odds before we run through the various contenders for his signature.

Saudi Arabia Desperate To Sign Salah

Saudi Arabian clubs will not give up on signing Salah, even more so with the news of Klopp's upcoming departure and his spat with the player over the weekend.

The major teams in that country have grown accustomed to getting what they want, and it seems that money is virtually no object for Al-Ittihad and some of their domestic rivals.

The powers that be in Saudi Arabia are particularly keen to land Salah since he is the most high-profile Arab and Muslim footballer in the world.

Al-Ittihad could submit another huge bid in the close season, or one of their fellow Pro League sides could test Liverpool’s resolve.

If Salah departs Merseyside in the summer, Saudi Arabia is his most likely destination.

Football betting sites have moved their odds considerably into 11/8 for this eventuality, from the 9/1 that had been available in the past.

Paris Saint-Germain Always Keen To Splash Cash On Stars

Paris Saint-Germain’s galactico transfer policy has not served them well over the last decade or so, at least with regards to their exploits in Europe.

However, it remains to be seen whether they have completely moved on from their star-studded approach to recruitment.

Salah’s quality is beyond doubt, and he possesses plenty of experience too.

Ballon d’Or contender Kylian Mbappe is expected to leave PSG and join Real Madrid in the summer, so the Ligue 1 giants will almost certainly be looking for a high-profile replacement.

A bid is starting to look more likely and the odds on Salah moving to the French capital have been cut from 16/1 to 10/1.

Real Madrid Could Look To Bolster Attacking Options

Although Salah's likeliest destination for the 2024-25 campaign is Saudi Arabia should he be sold, there are odds for three other clubs, starting with Real Madrid at 20/1.

Los Blancos have not had everything their own way this season, but they have a firm grip on La Liga.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League and lead arch rivals Barcelona by 11 points in Spain's top flight.

A move for Salah is hard to envisage, not least because Madrid are probably holding out for Mbappe.

It is also doubtful whether they would be willing to meet Liverpool’s demands for the Egypt international.

Barcelona Unlikely To Prise Salah Away From Liverpool

Barcelona are viewed as 25/1 outsiders with betting apps to bring Salah to Camp Nou.

They are out of the Champions League and it's only a matter of time before they concede their Liga title to Real Madrid.

Despite Xavi Hernandez performing a U-turn and pledging to remain at Barca for another season, the club's financial difficulties mean it would be tough to tempt Salah to Catalonia.

The Blaugrana have had no problem signing ageing players in recent years, but they would be better advised to focus on attackers younger than Salah, who - for all his brilliance - turns 32 in June.

Salah Could Be On Bayern Radar

Bayern Munich's 11-year grip on the Bundesliga ended in April when Bayer Leverkusen won the title for the first time in their history.

Thomas Tuchel is leaving the club at the end of the season and fans will want to see fresh blood at the Allianz Arena in the summer to avoid a repeat.

Ralf Rangnick is the odds-on favourite to replace Tuchel and he will be familiar with Salah's capabilities during his ill-fated spell in charge of Manchester United.

Bayern can be backed at 25/1 to bring him to Germany.
