Hojberg Underestimated In Shots Market
Pierre-Emile Hojberg is regarded as a defensive midfielder, but the Dane scored in three successive friendlies against Faroe Islands, Sweden and Norway in the build-up to the European Championship.
Hojberg also bagged a couple during the qualifying campaign and although he has yet to get on the mark in Germany it hasn’t been for the want of trying.
The Tottenham midfielder took six shots during the group stage - more than any other Danish player - and four of them were on target.
Only five players have a better shots on target record than Hojberg at Euro 2024, so he certainly catches the eye at 14/1 with BetMGM to get on the scoresheet against a defence that looks light at the back.

Cautionary Tale For Andrich
Germany players have generally been a disciplined bunch at the European Championship, picking up just five yellow cards from their three group games.
Four of those bookings went to defenders, but there was one midfielder who was cautioned in the first half of Germany’s opening game against Scotland and The Panel think he could be due another.
Robert Andrich has committed five fouls – the joint-highest German player alongside Tah – and saw yellow for a late sliding tackle on Scott McTominay in the first half of their opening game in Munich.
The one concern is that head coach Julian Nagelsmann has substituted Andrich in all three games, with the Leverkusen midfielder hauled off at half-time against the Scots because of his earlier booking.
However, he saw at least 65 minutes in both subsequent games against Hungary and Switzerland, and he could see more if Germany are looking to protect a lead.
Andrich was booked in both friendlies against France and Netherlands in March, so he’s a player that catches the eye of the referee in big games.
Denmark may lack the quality of the above teams, but Andrich is in a high-pressure situation, so he looks an interesting prospect at 3/1 to be shown a yellow card.
